A Posture of Prayer

Are you interested in the mind, body, and spirit connection?
In this course, we will use the practice of yoga as a lens to explore what it means to embody spirituality. Each class will include time engaging in breath work, meditation, yoga postures and poses.

What to Expect:
Each class will consist of 15 minutes of breathing and meditation and 45 minutes of yoga postures or poses.

Meet Jonathan Mangrum
Jonathan Mangrum was born in Harlingen, Texas and raised in Mission, Texas. He has been a lifelong learner with a particular interest in spirituality and the life of Christ. In 2010 he began practicing Yoga in Austin, Texas. Yoga became a part of his life experience during a transitional period where a new understanding and growth began to happen in his spirit. He completed his 200 hour level of yoga teacher training and national certification at The Yoga Institute in the Spring of 2023. In the Fall of 2023 he read The Wisdom Jesus by Cynthia Bourgeault, and was shortly thereafter invited to The Center for Christian Spirituality and has attended weekly services since.
